Why is it called IV-7?
Its name tells its story. IV is the Roman numeral for 4, and 47 is the number for silver on the Periodic Table of Elements. IV-7 is powered by silver dihydrogen citrate (SDC). Silver's antimicrobial properties have been known since ancient times.
Category IV is the EPA's lowest clasification of toxicity on the scale from I (most toxic) to IV (least toxic).
How to Use IV-7 Ultimate Germ Defense
For disinfecting, spray a hard surface thoroughly with IV-7 Ultimate Germ Defense™. Don't just mist the surface – wet it completely so the liquid beads up on the surface. The chart on the label tells how long to leave it on the surface. It will be at least 30 seconds, depending on which germs you are targeting.
Then, wipe the surface thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth. Microfiber cloths work especially well. Wiping the surface thoroughly will prevent any stickiness.
